CR e-Learning “Speciality” Lead

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to contribute to a vital learning initiative at the RCR.

Are you a clinical radiologist who is passionate about developing interactive learning for the benefit of Fellows and members worldwide? RCR Learning is at an exciting and pivotal point in the development of our offer within e-learning. We are seeking 12 new sub-speciality leads to join our newly formed learning faculty, dedicated to e-learning development and review, to support this important work.

2025 will see the launch of our new e-learning platform, which will offer a curated selection of high-quality and interactive educational resources relevant to the speciality, as a key membership benefit for our Fellows and members.

As digital learning continues to evolve rapidly and forms an increasingly integral part of the membership and educational offer, we’re seeking e-Learning Speciality Leads to support the next stage of our exciting re-development of our e-learning offer. Our vision is simple yet profound: to provide high-quality, accessible, practical, engaging and valuable educational resources for all. 

There will be an e-Learning Speciality Lead in each of the following sub-specialities:

  • Breast
  • Cardiac
  • Chest
  • Gastrointestinal (GI)
  • Head and neck
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK)
  • Neurological
  • Gynaecological
  • Paediatric
  • Uroradiology
  • Vascular and Interventional
  • Nuclear Medicine

In each speciality, we would like to appoint at least three people.

What’s involved?

The e-Learning Speciality Lead is responsible for all clinical activities relating to the development of their sub-speciality e-learning programme, including:

  • Mapping of the current e-learning content to your sub-speciality curriculum.
  • Identifying opportunities for new e-learning resources in your sub-speciality, which support the RCR’s strategic priorities and the needs of our membership globally.
  • Identifying opportunities within our live events programme to develop high-quality interactive recorded content on our e-learning platform. 
  • Collaborating closely with the RCR Learning team to develop, plan and organise the RCR’s CPD learning resources. 
  • As part of the RCR e-Learning Faculty Leadership Group, attend meetings and contribute to the ongoing direction of RCR Learning more widely. 
  • Supporting the ongoing recruitment and succession planning of the e-Learning Faculty, supported by the RCR Learning team. 
  • Undertaking other duties relevant to the scope of the role in line with the faculty and RCR strategic priorities.
