Become a QSI Quality Mark Reviewer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our new Quality Mark review teams to influence the standard of QSI across the country.
LEARN MORE

Joining our new Quality Mark review scheme, our Quality Mark Reviewers will join teams made up of - at a minimum - two expert reviewers, a lay reviewer, and a Quality Review Partner (QRP).

The teams will be built to reflect the service under review, covering the specific modalities and areas of specialism (eg. children's hospitals).

Formal training will be provided by The Royal College of Radiologists and The College of Radiographers.

Please note:

We anticipate that reviews for the formal process will not start until the Autumn, however we are delivering a few pilots between mid July and end of September. If you would be particularly interested in joining these, please do let us know.

Our Quality Mark Reviewers will:

Be experienced medical and clinical staff

Be equipped with the relevant knowledge and skills to conduct a review

Have a good understanding of the QSI Standards and how they can be interpreted and evidenced.

Benefits to becoming a Quality Mark Reviewer

Our Quality Mark Reviewers will engage other imaging services to gain an understanding of how they are tackling the complexities of high-quality service delivery. In doing so, you will gain in-depth insight into how best to approach similar circumstances in your own Trust, putting you in a great position to improve upon any particular sticking points.

You'll also get to spend time networking with other reviewers to widen your professional community, and it's an opportunity to attain CPD points.

Our Reviewers will be compensated for their time, either directly through the QSI Scheme or through their individual services. Expenses incurred whilst reviewing will also be covered.

What makes a good Quality Mark Reviewer?

We're after experts: specialists across a range of areas and interests.

We're particularly looking for those who have an interest in Quality Improvement and learning as a whole, and people who are keen to help others improve.
