LEARN MORE

Are you interested in shaping the future of radiology education? Do you want to make a real impact on your speciality through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)? If yes, join our AI faculty today!

The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) has recently launched a cutting-edge learning programme on the use of AI in radiology designed for radiologists and allied healthcare professionals at any stage of their career. The innovative approach of the course combines interactive e-learning modules with a dynamic workshop, providing a comprehensive exploration of AI's role in radiology, and giving participants the opportunity to delve into key concepts, learn practical techniques and engage in stimulating discussions.

To support the delivery of our existing CRAI modules 1 and 2 and the next stage of development of our CRAI modules 3-6, we are seeking members to join our CRAI faculty. As a member of the CRAI faculty, you will play a key part in creating, planning, and delivering educational resources that support ongoing learning in radiology and artificial intelligence, for UK and global audiences, as part of a team of facilitators

What's involved?

We plan to run three courses of our developed modules 1 and 2 following the successful pilots in 2024. As a Faculty Member, you will be part of a team of facilitators who help to deliver each one-day course. We'll also ask you to support the development of further modules as part of the course series.

We'll bring together Faculty Members for a premeeting to support and discuss each course and post evaluation meeting. We'd anticipate a maximum of four days would be required to support delivery of modules one and two on an annual basis.

There is also the opportunity to support the development of further modules, although you may choose to focus solely on the facilitation of the established course, it is anticipated that seven days of development time would be needed to support the development of modules 3 and 4.

What are the benefits?

  • One free place on the CRAI course for a colleague within your Trust when actively delivering a course.
  • One free place for you to attend any of the RCR Learning courses or conferences.
  •  An opportunity to network with fellow faculty members at the annual in person event, including reasonable travel and accommodation expenses and an organised faculty dinner.
  • CPD credits
  • Title of RCR Learning AI Education Faculty Member
  • Recognition of your contribution on all course materials
  • Recognition of your annual contribution via a formal letter
