This document is a brief guide to patient – level cancer data in the UK including:
- What data are collected and how – including Radiotherapy Dataset (RTDS) and Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT)
- How to get access to national data
- How to use the data constructively
The focus is on those interested from a clinical perspective rather than a research perspective. For those interested in population level data, Cancer Research UK produces very comprehensive briefings.
