Final FRCR Exam (Oncology) - Trainees share their experiences

While these were created during the COVID-19 pandemic to support candidates with the amended exam delivery, there have been some permanent changes to the exam implemented since this audio series, and candidates are advised to review information on this:
Part 1: How to prepare for the Final FRCR Exam in Clinical Oncology
In the first part, James Best (consultant clinical oncologist) and Rachel Cooper (Medical Director, Education and Training, Clinical Oncology) talk to five trainees about how they prepared for the Final FRCR exam. The discussion includes which areas they focused on the most, whom they sought advice from, as well as the importance of maintaining a good work-life balance.

Part 2: The trainee experience of the Final FRCR Part B Examination in Clinical Oncology during COVID-19

They provide helpful tips on how to deal with the time pressures in the exam as well as how to prepare and familarise yourself with the technology used.
