Radiology Specialist Interest Showcase
The Radiology Specialist Interest Showcase is a platform for radiology trainees to explore the future landscape of their field.
The programme was developed to provide attendees with insights into emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within radiology. Through a series of focused sessions on various specialty interests, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the advancements in imaging techniques, the integration of artificial intelligence, and the evolving role of radiologists in patient care.
You are encouraged to register to attend all 7 sessions but you may book individual sessions.
Format
- 7 virtual sessions on Zoom, covering 14 specialist interests
- Scheduled at 18:00 - 19:15
- All sessions will be recorded and only made available at the end of the completed programme
Learning outcomes
- To offer guidance to trainees in making informed career decisions within radiology specialty interests
- To facilitate discussions on the future directions of various specialty interests within radiology and provide attendees with insights into emerging trends and advancements.
- To explore the potential impact of technology, including artificial intelligence, as well as changes in the delivery of healthcare in the UK, on the practice of radiology.
- To encourage critical thinking and reflection on the evolving role of radiologists in patient care.
