Event overview

The Royal College of Radiologists is hosting its annual New Consultants Welcome Event, designed for RCR radiology and oncology members within their first 18 months in a new consultant post.

The sessions will include didactic lectures covering topics including job planning, wellbeing and leadership skills. There will be opportunities to network with your peers and RCR officers within an open discussion forum.

This event is invite only, for new consultants. Attending this event in person will allow you to gain 5 CPD credits. This course is not being recorded and will not be available for live streaming or for digital access after the event.

Learning objectives

  1. Learn practical approaches to non-clinical aspects of being a consultant
  2. Understand the leadership skills you bring to your role, and get insights on your leadership development priorities
  3. Discover how the College supports your working life and professional practice
  4. Get support in understanding financial planning considerations as you progress in your career.
