Kathy Broadbent is a clinical scientist based at Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge. She specialises in the dosimetry of radiotherapy treatment units.

Jim O' Doherty is a Medical Physicist with broad experience in clinical & preclinical imaging across a wide range of imaging modalities. He has specific experience in design, management and analysis of clinical imaging research studies with a range of imaging modalities, as well as clinical and preclinical site design, tendering and installation of MRI, CT and Molecular Imaging services, activation and development of molecular radiotherapy (MRT) services as well as radionuclide dosimetry calculations. He has worked as a Medical Physicist in luminary sites across the world in Ireland, the Middle East, Singapore and the United States and holds visiting professorships at institutions in Europe and the USA.

Jacqueline is a Principal Physicist & Medical Physics Expert in Nuclear Medicine at St James's University Hospital in Leeds and a specialist in Nuclear Medicine therapy. With over 27 years experience she has lectured for over 20 years on FRCR Radiology and Oncology physics courses for the West Yorkshire Radiology Academy in Leeds. She has also been an honorary tutor with The University of Bolton, presenting on their FRCR Radiology Physics Part 1 international revision course between 2021 and 2023.

James is an MRI physicist that works on developing methods for the detection of neurological and pulmonary diseases. He is also keen to see MRi taught well, and enjoys the outdoors.

Emeritus Professor Paley has been involved with NMR and MRI since 1973 when he was an undergraduate and postgraduate at Nottingham where MRI was developed in the UK. He helped build the first commercial MRI systems in the 80s and developed an extremity/neonatal MRI system that was FDA cleared and is now features in the Science Museum. He has over 200 papers, books and patents on MRI. He maintains a website on the history of MR Imaging and Spectroscopy www.mrishistory.org.uk. 

Jamie is a Clinical Scientist who has been working in a busy Nuclear Medicine Department since 2016, involved in performance testing of SPECT/CT & PET/CT scanners as well as a range of other equipment plus contributing to a expansive radionuclide therapy service.

Harry Slinger is the Head of Nuclear Medicine Physics at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, covering all scientific aspects of the service, including diagnostic nuclear medicine, PET and our therapy service.
