Heads of Service

The Heads of Service network is a supportive group for clinicians responsible for the day to day running of clinical oncology services.

Aims

- Provide opportunities or regular liaison between the (RCR) and Oncology Heads of Service across the four nations

- Develop a professional community of practice for those responsible for the day to day running of oncology services.

The College will facilitate regular meetings and networking opportunities for this network.

Joint Heads of Service & Heads of Training Meeting

Join colleagues from across the UK for an in-person day focused on leadership in training and service delivery. The programme includes practical sessions on mentoring, induction and supporting colleagues with caring responsibilities, alongside peer discussion, interactive workshops and RCR updates. Dedicated Heads of Training and Heads of Service breakout sessions, and the networking lunch, provide further opportunity to connect with colleagues.
