Governance
The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is a registered charity (no. 211540). It was granted a ‘Royal’ title in 1975 and the Royal Charter was awarded on 12 February 1975. The College is governed by the Royal Charter, from which are derived the By-Laws and Regulations, which guide the governance, management and business arrangements of the College.

Accountability
The Trustee Board meets with Council and the Clinical Oncology and Clinical Radiology Faculty Leadership Teams meet with the respective Faculty Boards twice a year.
Constitution
The governing instruments of the RCR are the Royal Charter, the By-Laws and the Regulations. The College is governed by its Royal Charter, under which the By-Laws are made.
