CPD Journal FAQs
To access your CPD Journal, please log into the MyRCR area and click into the CPD Journal.
Please login to the MyRCR area and click on the CPD Journal. Please click the ‘+ New Entry’ icon and then ‘Create CPD Journal’.
Please email [email protected] if you have not been able to log into the MyRCR area.
Please email [email protected] if you are able to login into the My RCR area but are unable to access your CPD Journal.
Please click on the ‘+ new entry’ button in the CPD Journal to create a new entry. You will be able to select the type of activity you are adding.
You can add your reflection to your entry when creating this or alternatively, you can edit an existing entry by clicking on the pencil icon. 2 extra credits will automatically be added to your journal for reflections and actions with 20 words or more.
In the CPD Journal, you can filter the journal by entering a ‘Completion start date’ and a ‘Completion end date’. This will only display entries within this time period.
To export your CPD Journal history, go to the MyRCR area and click on CPD Journal. In your journal, you can filter this to a relevant time period, by entering a ‘Completion start date’ and a ‘Completion end date’. Click on the export as PDF or Excel option to download your entries and attachments. Please note, you may see a pop-up window asking you to approve the download.

You can export your attachments by clicking on the ‘Export attachments’ button at the top of your CPD Journal. You can download, add or remove attachments in each entry too by clicking on the entry title.
In the CPD Journal, this displays an overview table with how many credits have been earned per entry including the title, activity type and completion date. To view this per entry, you can click on the entry title, and this will display all the details relevant to this entry.
