In 2021 RadReach in collaboration with the Widening Participation Medics Network (WPMN), was formed as an initiative encouraging under-represented groups to choose a career in clinical oncology or clinical radiology. Since 2021 88 people have gone through our mentoring programme with many going on to secure places on specialty training. Our third annual event in 2025 will be themed on thriving not just surviving and will include skills sessions and practical support, panel discussions and sessions on managing wellbeing. There will also be time for networking with peers and a Q&A with the RadReach team.

We would like to invite SAS and LE doctors to our annual event day hosted at the College. The theme is: Pathways to Progress: Empowering SAS and LE Doctors in Clinical Radiology and Clinical Oncology.
This event will be a multidisciplinary technical radiotherapy workshop, (including an outlining workshop) in collaboration with RTTQA, the UK SABR Consortium and the RCR to support centres in delivering SABR to oligometastatic nodal and bony disease for their local population.
